CCSD is currently seeking applications for a parent/guardian representative on the Nevada Interscholastic Activities Association’s (NIAA) Board of Control. The parent/guardian selected must have a pupil who currently participates in a sanctioned sport and is not an employee or an immediate family member of an employee of a public, private, or charter school.
The appointed parent/guardian representative to the NIAA Board of Control will begin their term at the September 23, 2025, NIAA Board of Control meeting. The appointment will expire following the June 2028 meeting.
If selected to serve in this role, there is a potential loss of personal/professional time. Travel to Reno may be required to participate in meetings.
