CCSD celebrates CTE/Magnet Schools Month

February is Career and Technical Education (CTE) and Magnet Schools Month! The Clark County School District (CCSD) offers students several programs and schools of interest and prepares them to be college and career-ready.

Students can discover career avenues and a look into some of the CTE programs offered below:

Thirty-five CCSD Magnet programs were recently recognized by the Magnet Schools of America (MSA) for their excellence for the 2023-24 school year.

Nine CCSD Magnet programs received Top School of Excellence recognition, seven programs were awarded the Magnet School of Excellence designation and 18 schools were awarded the Magnet School of Distinction award designation.

Principals at all 34 schools will be recognized and receive their awards during an awards ceremony held at MSA’s National Conference in April.

Magnet Schools and programs are another popular school-choice option for students and families. Students may apply to programs related to various themes that interest them.
