Multiple Clark County School District (CCSD) schools paid tribute to those who tragically lost their lives 24 years ago on September 11, 2001.

Eldorado High School hosted a remembrance ceremony for the victims of the 9/11 attacks, with the school’s Navy JROTC leading the event with a presentation of arms.

Valley High School students paid tribute with a ceremony including a salute by the school’s Army JROTC as well as the school’s cheer squad. The school also had a special 9/11 wreath on display to honor the victims.

Palo Verde High School also held its annual rededication ceremony to remember the victims, including the school’s world language teacher, Barbara Edwards. Edwards was a passenger on American Airlines Flight 77, which crashed into the Pentagon on 9/11. The school’s Air Force JROTC and school choir led the tribute.
