CCSD recognized for ARP ESSER planning and reporting

LAS VEGAS – The Clark County School District (CCSD) received commendations for community input and compliance with the American Rescue Plan (ARP) and Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Fund (ESSER) spending.

A Desktop Review Monitoring process conducted by the Nevada Department of Education (NDE) found that CCSD met all requirements and found no instances of noncompliance.

The review recognized CCSD with commendations for the broad community engagement that informed the initial ARP/ESSER spending and the ARP ESSER III Dashboard at future.ccsd.net, which provides transparency on spending.

“Our efforts to recover from the pandemic are ongoing. We are grateful for the efforts of CCSD staff and faculty who have worked extremely hard to support our students,” Interim Superintendent Dr. Brenda Larsen-Mitchell said. “As the deadline for spending approaches, we will continue utilizing the remaining ARP ESSER III funding to improve academic outcomes.”

CCSD’s ARP ESSER III Dashboard provides updates and reports on the $777 million in COVID-19 Relief and Recovery Funds provided through the American Rescue Plan, as CCSD works to address the pressing needs of students and the community in the wake of the pandemic. The dashboard is located at future.ccsd.net.
