CCSD provides one-stop website for Hybrid Instructional Model information

The Clark County School District (CCSD) has launched reconnect.ccsd.net, a one-stop website for helpful information about the District’s hybrid instructional model.

The website is a handy resource for all information related to hybrid instruction, which begins March 1 for pre-kindergarten to Grade 3 students whose families choose for them to return to the classroom. Information on the website includes topics related to health and safety, food service, transportation, and technology, as well as information about hybrid instruction and full-time distance education.

“Our goal is to provide helpful information to parents and students within one website,” said CCSD Superintendent Dr. Jesus F. Jara. “I invite parents, students, and the community to visit the website for details about what to expect with hybrid instruction and helpful videos. Additionally, the District understands that not all parents are ready to have their children return to school buildings, so we are proud to provide choice for our families with the continuation of a full-time distance education model.”

The District’s instructional model of full-time distance education will continue as well for families. Throughout the second semester, the District will work to transition additional grade levels to the hybrid instructional model; however, there is currently no timeline for this transition.

Pre-K to Grade 3 parents should expect to hear from their child’s school by the end of this week about which cohort their child will be in.

A Spanish version of the website is also available by visiting reconnect.ccsd.net and clicking the language tab at the top left-hand side of the website and clicking “Español.”
