CCSD partners with UNR to create dual enrollment program for high school students

The Clark County School District (CCSD) has partnered with the University of Nevada, Reno to form a dual enrollment program. Participating juniors and seniors from the two pilot schools, Centennial and Cheyenne High Schools, will be enrolled in three college-level courses each semester with the goal of earning 15 college credits prior to enrolling in college.

CCSD Superintendent Dr. Jesus F. Jara and University President Brian Sandoval will meet with students, many of whom are the first to attend college in their families, to discuss the start of the program and future goals.
