The Clark County School District (CCSD) has been recognized with the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting (COE) by the Association of School Business Officials International (ASBO) for its comprehensive annual financial report (ACFR). The COE signifies that CCSD met the organization’s high standards for financial reporting and transparency in the 2021 fiscal year.
“The Clark County School District is proud to be honored again by the ASBO for our continued dedication to financial transparency,” said CCSD Superintendent Dr. Jesus F. Jara. “Our Chief Financial Officer Jason Goudie and our team in the Finance Department are fulfilling the transparency and reporting goals included in the district’s five-year strategic plan, Focus: 2024, and are recognized for their excellence in doing so. I applaud Mr.Goudie and our team for their commitment to transparently reporting the District’s finances.”
The District submitted its ACFR for review by a team of financial professionals who provide feedback to improve future documents. A school district’s participation in the COE program can facilitate bond rating and continuing bond disclosure processes.
