Today, CCSD celebrates Ruby Bridges Walk to School Day! We honor the courageous Ruby Bridges and her walk to school on November 14, 1960, when she became one of the first Black children to integrate an all-white school in New Orleans.
This day gives students the opportunity to celebrate and honor courage, inclusion, and safety in our communities.
