The Clark County School District (CCSD) will observe Week of Respect during the first week of October. Governor Sisolak has proclaimed October 3- 7, 2022, as the “Week of Respect.”

Schools across CCSD will participate in activities every day to emphasize a safe and respectful learning environment and we are asking all of our students and employees to wear blue on “Get Your Blue On” Friday. This unifying gesture demonstrates that CCSD is committed to reducing instances of bullying in our schools and treating each other with respect.

In addition to the guide, the Nevada Department of Education has developed a website that focuses on resources in bullying prevention for students, families, and school staff.  The site is https://doe.nv.gov/SafeRespectfulLearning/Week_of_Respect/.

Share images or videos of your school’s Week of Respect activities on social media using the #CCSDGetYourBlueOn and tag us.

The “Week of Respect” launches a yearlong effort to enhance a safe and respectful learning environment. CCSD’s “Week of Respect” theme is “Be an Upstander.”
