Frank Kim’s legacy is marked as one of service. In 1929, Kim’s family moved from Bingham, Utah, to the desert community of Las Vegas. He overcame prejudice by displaying dignity to everyone he met. In 1943, he graduated from Las Vegas High School and shortly after enlisted in the United States Navy. After leaving the military service, he entered a career field that he knew would suit him well, the police force.
He was dedicated to public service in his community and is remembered for his 30 years of service to the law enforcement agency for which he worked.
