CCSD celebrates Employee of the Year winners
The Clark County School District (CCSD) recognized the first ever employee of the year winners at the Public Education Foundation’s 30th Birthday Gala on Sept. 10, 2021.
The winners are:
Central Administrator of the Year – Denise Farleigh, Director, Payroll and Employee Benefits
Support Professional of the Year – Cormella Belt, Office Specialist II, Mike O’Callaghan Middle School
Teacher of the Year – Melissa Tanner, 4th grade teacher, Sunrise Acres Elementary School
School Administrator of the Year – Jacquelynn Walker, Principal, Judith D. Steele Elementary School
These educational rockstars were selected based upon their contributions to student achievement, solution-focused problem solving skills, and their engagement with families and the community.
