The Clark County School District (CCSD) will showcase its staff, students, and community partners to celebrate the holiday season through the 12 Days of Recognition campaign.

Various in-person events will be held on school days from December 4 to December 19, 2025. Additional 12 Days of Recognition events will be featured on CCSD social media accounts, including Facebook, Instagram and X.

1st Day 

Today we kicked off our annual 12 Days of Recognition, celebrating the people who make CCSD shine during the holiday season and highlighting the incredible community partnerships that support our schools.

CCSD surprised four exceptional teachers with the news that they will be honored as the Teacher of the Game at an upcoming LV Desert Dogs matchup. Each educator will receive a 2-night resort stay courtesy of the Rio Hotel and a $100 gift card courtesy of Clark County Credit Union. Congratulations to these outstanding honorees.

2nd Day

Students at Ed W. Clark High School were introduced to the fundamentals of rugby today by representatives of the National Rugby League! The NRL donated equipment and rugby curriculum instruction to physical education teachers at more than 15 CCSD campuses.

3rd Day

On the 3rd Day of Recognition, CCSD school social worker, Ms. Kristi Burt from Sandy Valley School, was chosen as the Quarter 1 Wraparound Services All-Star for 2025!

4th Day

The 4th Day of Recognition was celebrated at Robert O. Gibson Leadership Academy! They received the first donation check from Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers that will fund sports-related needs, such as uniform replacements for five of their sports programs. Thank you to Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers, Las Vegas Pro Kicker Daniel Carlson, and the Las Vegas Review-Journal for supporting our students.

5th Day

On the 5th Day of Recognition, the Southern Nevada Health District was recognized for its unwavering year-round support. Their team provides free vaccinations to CCSD students on a bi-monthly basis, ensuring families have access to essential healthcare. We are truly grateful for their continued commitment to supporting all students and strengthening the well-being of our school communities.

6th Day 

On the 6th Day of Recognition, Basic Academy of International Studies special education teacher Kristina Carmona was gifted a brand-new Toyota RAV-4 as the Rally in the Valley winner. A huge thanks to Fox 5 and Findlay Toyota for recognizing our amazing educators!

7th Day

The 7th Day of Recognition was celebrated by recognizing our outstanding educators! Ms. Paris Roberts of E.W. Griffith Elementary School and Ms. Rocio Ontiveros of Goldfarb Elementary were recognized as A+ Educators by the Silver State Schools Credit Union. Thank you for everything you do, Ms. Roberts and Ms. Ontiveros!

8th Day 

On the 8th Day of Recognition, the Second Grade team at Doris French Elementary School was surprised with $1,000 by the College Football Playoff Foundation and Extra Yard for Teachers! Principal Villarreal-Crabb also received $5,000 to purchase supplies in support of students and staff.

9th Day 

The 9th Day of Recognition was celebrated at the annual Grinchmas at Manch Elementary School. Clark County Commissioner Marilyn Kirkpatrick, Shoes that Fit, and LVMPD volunteers joined forces to create an event for students full of holiday magic, games, food, and new athletic shoes for over 600 students!

10th Day 

The 10th Day of Recognition was celebrated at Doris Hancock Elementary School! The 16th annual “Fill a Bag with Cheer” event provided 474 students with specially designed bags of goodies. Thank you to our community partner, the Las Vegas Hospitality Association, for helping make the holidays special for our students!

11th Day 

The 11th Day of Recognition was celebrated at J.T. McWilliams Elementary School as students were surprised with new toys by the Firefighters of Southern Nevada Burn Foundation. More than 650 CCSD students were provided with toys this holiday season by the Firefighters of Southern Nevada Burn Foundation. Thank you to the Burn Foundation for its extreme generosity!

12th Day

On the final day of Recognition, students and families were surprised at the CCSD Family Support Center with the Burn Foundation Santa Drop and Toy Donation! Thank you to the Firefighters of the Southern Nevada Burn Foundation for making the holidays extra special for our families!
