Agenda Item 5.03 Focus: 2024 Strategic Plan Update

The Clark County School District (CCSD) Board of School Trustees received a presentation regarding district operational services strategies and progress toward goals outlined in Focus: 2024, the District’s five-year strategic plan.

Key objectives of the presentation include:

  • Increase school breakfast, lunch and supper participation

  • Reduce number of buses placed out-of-service to reduce service rate delays

  • Decrease processing time, reduce costs, and increase the competitive procurement ratio

  • Provide effective and reliable network connectivity for schools

Agenda Item 5.04 Trustee Redistricting Process

Trustees held a discussion regarding the process of redrawing districts for the Board of School Trustees elections.

Per federal and state law, Trustee Districts are being reapportioned in alignment with the 2020 Census to account for rapid growth over the past 10 years. Community meetings were scheduled in each Trustee District.
