LAS VEGAS – Agenda Item 2.02 – 2025-2026 Final Budget
The Clark County School District (CCSD) Board of School Trustees approved the adoption of the final budget for the 2025-2026 school year. State law requires the District to submit a final budget to the Nevada Department of Taxation by June 9, 2025.
As the 2025 Nevada Legislative Session is scheduled to run through June 2, 2025, the District will have up to 30 days to submit possible amendments that incorporate necessary updates due to the budget approved by the Legislature and Governor. As is standard practice, an amended final budget is submitted to the state in December of each year, which includes updates to the District’s budget accounting for actual enrollment numbers and state-provided allocations.
CCSD estimates an approximate $4.1 billion in General and Special Education Fund revenues for the 2025-2026 school year. The final budget includes an unassigned ending fund balance of approximately $145.9 million.
