Agenda Item 2.31 – Agreement Between the Clark County School District and the Boys and Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada  

The Clark County School District (CCSD) Board of School School Trustees approved an agreement with the Boys and Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada to provide transportation to nine Boy & Girls Club sites.

27 schools will be provided with the additional service to provide transportation to students from school to Boys & Girls Club sites in the Las Vegas Valley

Agenda Item 3.01 – Focus: 2024 Strategic Plan Update – Nevada System of Higher Education Remediation Rates

The Board received a report on Focus: 2024 strategic plan goals related to remediation rates at Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE) institutions. 

The report highlighted changes to NSHE policies that eliminated traditional models of remediation. Due to the changes, CCSD is focused on providing high-quality Tier I instruction and  Tier II and III interventions for students through Multi-Tiered System of Supports and effective monitoring tools for guiding student progress to decrease remediation rates.
