LAS VEGAS – Agenda Item 3.01 – Focus: 2024 Strategic Plan Update – Graduation Rates

The Clark County School District (CCSD) Board of School Trustees accepted a report on graduation rates related to the District’s strategic plan.

The Class of 2024 represented the largest number of graduating students in CCSD in six years. Additionally, for the second consecutive year, CCSD noted an increase in graduates earning the College and Career Ready Diploma.

The four-year high school graduation rate is measured on the Nevada School Performance Framework and accounts for 25 of 30 possible points. It is estimated that 35 high schools will earn the full 25 points on the 2024–2025 report, based on a Class of 2024 graduation rate greater than or equal to 89.4 percent.

Additionally, 51 CCSD high schools met or exceeded the state rate (81.6 percent) for the Class of 2024.
