LAS VEGAS – Agenda Item 3.02 – Fiscal Year 2025 Amended Final Budget
The Clark County School District (CCSD) Board of School Trustees approved the Fiscal Year 2025 Amended Final Budget that will be submitted to the state of Nevada by the January 2025 deadline.
The general operating budget includes total expenditures of approximately $3.97 billion, with more than 81 percent of funds utilized for employee salaries and benefits.
The unassigned ending fund balance of $146.7 million represents 4.24 percent of the District’s budget.

Agenda Item 2.33 – Naming of a Career and Technical Academy
The Board of School Trustees approved South Career and Technical Academy as the name of the new school being built at Gillespie Street and E. Starr Avenue. The new Career and Technical Academy, scheduled to open for the 2025-2026 school year, will offer nine programs, including Advanced Manufacturing Technologies, Cyber Defense and Advanced Computing Technology, Early Childhood Education, and Entertainment and Sports Marketing.

Agenda Item 3.03 – Compliance Monitoring Agreement
The Board approved an agreement with King Strategies LLC to provide services as a Compliance Monitor pursuant to the Nevada Department of Education’s appointment.
