Agenda Item 4.02 – Multi-Tiered System of Supports – Title I Expectations

The Clark County (CCSD) School District Board of School Trustees received a presentation about the District’s Multi-Tiered System of Supports – Title I expectations.

The expectations include:

  • Working as one team.

  • Lead with students at the center of the work by making the right decisions for every child.

  • Demonstrate instructional leadership.

  • Maintain high expectations for all students and alla adults with support to help them be their very best.

  • Embrace continuous professional learning.

  • Explore solutions to every challenge with a positive attitude, problem solving approach, and sense of urgency.

  • Engage and collaborate with all stakeholders with integrity and respect.

Agenda item 3.29 – Settlement Agreement and Release of Claims between the Clark County School District Board of Trustees and Jesus F. Jara

Joint statement:

The Clark County School District Board of Trustees and Superintendent Dr. Jesus Jara collectively reached an agreement to move forward. Our hope is to proceed collaboratively, allowing us to fully focus on our greatest priority, serving students and improving student outcomes. There is so much work to do, but if we focus on supporting our students, families, staff, and community, we are positive we will continue to move in the right direction together.
