Agenda Item 3.03 – CCSD Disparity study presentation

Trustees received a presentation regarding the results of a disparity study initiated by the District to improve equity in bidding for contracts.

The report, conducted by Keen Independent Research, indicated the District’s utilization of minority-and women-owned contracts was on par with availability for prime construction contracts, which was the largest area of District spending during the study period. The report also showed the underutilization of minority- and women-owned businesses on District goods and service purchases as well as subcontract opportunities for public works projects.
