LAS VEGAS – Agenda Item 3.04 Employment Agreement – Chief Information Officer
The Clark County School District (CCSD) Board of School Trustees approved the employment agreement for Mugunth Vaithylingam, who will serve as Chief Information Officer.
Vaithylingam most recently served as the Chief Information Officer at the College of Southern Nevada.

Agenda Item 4.02 and 4.03 Notice of Intent – Clark County School District Policy 5112 and Regulation 5112
Trustees approved revisions to CCSD Policy and Regulation 5112. Both outline how students can enroll in a school other than their assigned attendance zone.
This Policy and Regulation ensure CCSD is aligned with Assembly Bill 533 passed in the 2025 Legislative session. Due to this new legislation, CCSD will rebrand its “Change of School Assignment (COSA)” process to be formally called “Open Enrollment.”
While the name is different, the process will remain largely the same.
