Agenda Item 3.02 – 3.03 – Presentation of the Annual Independent Auditor’s Report for the Fiscal Year Ended June 30, 2022

The Clark County School District (CCSD) Board of School Trustees and the CCSD Audit Advisory Committee held a joint meeting to discuss the audit of the District’s financial statements. The independent auditing firm, Eide Bailly, issued an unmodified opinion related to the financial statements of the District. The audit found CCSD is in compliance and no corrective action is needed.

The independent auditor did not identify any noncompliant findings or recommendations of the current year.

Agenda Item 2.05 – Employment Agreement – Deputy Human Resources – Chief of Recruitment/Retention, Development and Business Processes

The Board approved an employment contract for Marynet Bernazar as the Deputy Human Resources – Chief of Recruitment/Retention, Development and Business Processes, an at-will position. The term is set to begin December 12, 2022 through June 30, 2023. Bernazar will assist the school district in hiring diverse, talented individuals committed to the success of every student to meet the needs of the growing school population.
