The Clark County School District (CCSD) is accepting enrollment requests for Pre-Kindergarten (Pre-K) programs for the 2024-25 school year. The District offers more than 13,000 free Pre-K seats in over 600 Early Childhood programs. CCSD families need to complete the Pre-K Interest Form to have their student placed on the interest and/or waitlist.
All students must meet the following requirements to be considered for Pre-K programs:
- Student must be three years old before August 1, 2024.
- Student cannot be eligible for Kindergarten enrollment.
- Parent/guardian must transport student to and from school.
Most CCSD Pre-K programs are half-day, with a limited number of full-day programs. Full-day programs require students to meet specific criteria that are outlined based on the program.
If selected, students will be offered an available Pre-K seat at their zoned school. When there is no availability at their zoned school, the student will be offered a seat at the closest school with an opening. Students will be placed on a waitlist if there are no available seats at nearby schools.
If there are more interested students than available seats at a school, students will be selected via lottery no later than May 31, 2024. Students not selected via lottery will be offered a seat at the closest school with an opening or placed on a waitlist if no seats are available in the area.
Parents/guardians will be notified via email of their student’s placement in early June 2024 and will be provided with registration instructions. Students will continue to be placed in Pre-K programs until May 9, 2025. Parents/guardians with students on the waitlist will be notified of their student’s placement as soon as there is an available seat.
