Gavin Addington is an amazing example of what Laughlin High School has to offer. He’s been active in various sports during his time here including basketball, wrestling, baseball, and football. He’s an integral part of our school pride/community, and he participates in the school’s student council and Interact functions. It’s School Lunch Hero Day!  Today, we celebrate our school nutrition professionals who keep our students focused and energized for the school day with a nutritious meal.  Did you know that in the 2023-2024 school year, about 42.3 million meals were served? We couldn’t have done that without the help of our School Lunch Heroes!  We are so thankful for all of their hard work. Every May, Better Hearing and Speech Month is celebrated to bring awareness and understanding of communication disorders and the importance of early intervention and treatment.  The CCSD Audiology Services Department performs individual diagnostic hearing evaluations on students using a variety of tests. These tests measure everything from otoscopy, pure tones, speech perception, validation of hearing devices, and much more. The Clark County School District (CCSD) is developing a Facility Master Plan (FMP) to guide how schools are used and where capital investments are made over the next 5 to 10 years. With a focus on student achievement and responsible use of resources, CCSD has partnered with CannonDesign to assess every school facility, study enrollment trends, and lead an open, community-driven planning process.
