Clark County School District (CCSD) Magnet programs continue to earn national praise for providing students access to academic opportunities. 41 CCSD programs earned top honors from Magnet Schools of America (MSA) for the 2024–2025 school year. LAS VEGAS – Agenda Item 3.01 – Focus: 2024 Strategic Plan Update – Graduation Rates The Clark County School District (CCSD) Board of School Trustees accepted a report on graduation rates related to the District’s strategic plan. The Class of 2024 represented the largest number of graduating students in CCSD in six years. The Clark County School District (CCSD) honored CCSD Police Department Officer Andrew Craft on the anniversary of his passing with the presentation of a memorial bench. The bench will be located at the Region 1 Service Center, where Officer Craft was last assigned as a patrol officer. Officer Craft passed away after a medical episode while on duty on January 10, 2024. The 37-year-old officer had been with CCSD Police since 2018.

The Clark County School District (CCSD) Board of School Trustees elected their officers for the 2025 calendar year during a work session public meeting Wednesday. The Board elected Trustee Irene Bustamante Adams as President, Trustee Brenda Zamora as Vice President, and Trustee Tameka Henry as Clerk. The Clark County School District (CCSD) Board of School Trustees welcomed four new members during a special meeting on Monday, January 6, 2025.
