Clark County School District (CCSD) students at several schools will participate in the annual Giant Student Farmers Market with Green Our Planet on April 22, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at The Lawn in Downtown Summerlin.  Student “Farmprenuers” will sell freshly grown produce and handcrafted goods for purchase. All profits will be reinvested into school garden programs. In partnership with Green Our Planet, several CCSD schools provide students with STEM garden and hydroponics programs.

When Christian Jattan was in eighth grade, his mother was diagnosed with a debilitating disease that eventually left her paralyzed. For two years, Christian and his father took on the responsibility of caring for her. Despite these challenges, Christian enrolled at Las Vegas Academy (LVA) as a theater student, a passion he had since childhood. Balancing advanced coursework, theater conservatory duties, and caregiving, Christian discovered that staying busy kept him focused. LAS VEGAS – Agenda Item 3.01 – Superintendent Employment Agreement The Clark County School District (CCSD) Board of School Trustees approved an employment agreement with Jhone Ebert to serve as Superintendent. The four-year agreement runs through April 14, 2029, with an annual salary of $385,000. Per the terms of the agreement, Superintendent Ebert will assume her role on Monday, April 14, 2025. Clark High School proudly presents Jessica Zarate as its 2025 STAR Graduate. Jessica is a four-year AVID student and is president of the SOL Club. She leads meetings with positivity and respect and has organized multiple cultural events within the school community. Jessica works tirelessly to advance the SOL Club’s mission and organize impactful events that celebrate Latino heritage and promote awareness on campus.
