Agenda Item 4.03 – Amended Final Budget  The Clark County School District (CCSD) Board of School Trustees unanimously approved the amended final budget that will be submitted to the State of Nevada ahead of the January 2023 deadline. The general operating budget includes total expenditures of approximately $3.1 billion and an ending fund balance of approximately $173.6 million. The approved Amended Final Budget includes a projected 4.25% unassigned ending fund balance of $120.7 million. The Clark County School District (CCSD) reported the early impacts of federal pandemic-recovery dollars during the ARP ESSER III Annual Use of Funds Report presentation to the CCSD Board of School Trustees. The Clark County School District (CCSD) is looking to National Assessment of Education Progress (NAEP) results to target investments as part of the Focus on the Future for Kids initiative. 2022 NAEP results reflect the tremendous impact that the pandemic had on student learning.
