The Clark County School District (CCSD) increased the graduation rate by five percentage points during the 2024-2025 school year. The four-year graduation rate for the Class of 2025 was 86.6%, up from 81.5% for the Class of 2024.
“This is a tremendous achievement for CCSD and a credit to the work of our students, educators, and families. CCSD is becoming the Destination District,” said Jhone Ebert, CCSD Superintendent. “This jump in the graduation rate, along with increases in academic achievement Districtwide on the Nevada Report Card, shows that high-quality instructional materials, focused professional development, and excellent educators are producing results. These academic gains are a result of investments made during the 2023 Legislative Session. Thank you to Governor Lombardo and the Nevada Legislature for putting education first.”
Superintendent Ebert celebrated the news today by visiting the team at Cheyenne High School, which saw an increase from 80.84% to 88.04% – a gain of 7.2%.

The Class of 2025 had a total of 23,443 graduates, with every student group showing an improvement in the graduation rate. Students eligible for special education (+9.7 percent), English Learners (+9.5 percent), and Black/African American (+8.9 percent) students saw the largest increase in graduation rates compared to the previous year. Hispanic/Latino students (+5.8 percent), Title I students (+6.8 percent) and students with two or more races (+5.4 percent) all improved by more than District average.
The District continues to see an increase in the number of graduates earning the College and Career Ready (CCR) Diploma. In 2024-2025, 7,011 students were awarded the CCR diploma, compared to 6,000 the previous year. That represents nearly 30 percent of CCSD graduates leaving high school prepared with one of the highest honored diplomas. To earn a CCR Diploma, students must earn 24 credit units, with a 3.25 minimum Grade Point Average, take the Civics Assessment, take the ACT, complete additional coursework and endorsement requirements.
Two-thirds of CCSD high schools achieved a graduation rate of 90 percent or higher, with five schools recording a 100% graduation rate for 2024-2025.
