The Clark County School District (CCSD) proudly announces that the National Association of Elementary School Principals (NAESP) named Lincoln Elementary School Principal Jennifer Black as a 2025 National Distinguished Principal.

“When you think of a principal who pours her heart into her school and is truly dedicated to student success, Jennifer Black comes to mind instantly,” said CCSD Superintendent Jhone Ebert. “Her leadership, compassion, and advocacy make her deserving of this award. Congratulations, Principal Black.”

Principal Black began teaching with CCSD in 1998 at Ann Lynch Elementary School. She first served as principal at Fredric W. Watson Elementary School in 2008 and has been principal of Lincoln Elementary School since 2011. She is an active member of the Clark County Association of School Administrators and Professional-Technical Employees (CCASAPE), the Nevada Association of School Administrators (NASA), and NAESP.

NAESP recognizes school principals who make superior contributions to their schools and communities.

Principal Black was one of 43 principal honorees nationwide recognized for this award during a ceremony in Washington, D.C. last month.
