By proactively addressing concerns at sites that were previously prone to HVAC failures, CCSD Facilities Services Unit crews and external mechanical contractors expect to be able to improve services to all District facilities. The Facilities Services Unit’s maintenance and capital renewal teams will remain available to all campuses to address concerns throughout the year. The Facilities Services Unit generally arrives at facilities within 2 hours of a reported failure. This proactive maintenance throughout the summer of 2025 is expected to reduce the volume of calls for service, which would otherwise increase those response times Districtwide.
