The Clark County School District (CCSD) graduation rate for the Class of 2024 was 81.5 percent, with 21,736 students earning their diplomas. 

“Thank you to our educators who remain committed to ensuring that our students are successful and prepared for life beyond graduation,” said CCSD Interim Superintendent Dr. Brenda Larsen-Mitchell. “This includes students’ access to rigorous coursework and implementing systems and supports to ensure our students are prepared to pursue their college and career goals. We are proud of the Class of 2024!”

The District saw year-over-year rate increases for some student groups, including students who identify as American Indian/Alaska Native, Hispanic/Latino, Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander and Students Eligible for Special Education. Career and Technical Education (CTE) students demonstrated a graduation rate of 97.46 percent, a year-over-year increase of 1 percentage point.

More students graduated with a College and Career Ready Diploma from the prior year, indicating an increase in students leaving prepared with the highest honored diploma. 6,000 District students graduated with a College and Career Ready Diploma in 2024.

Global Community High School experienced the greatest year-over-year improvement, from 50.0 percent to 68.1 percent, representing an 18.1 percent increase. Global Community High School focuses on newcomer students to accelerate English language development, core graduation requirements and preparation for post-secondary opportunities.

15 CCSD high schools posted a graduation rate of over 95 percent, with four schools achieving a 100 percent graduation rate:
