Roger D. Gehring Academy of Science and Technology staff members were surprised with tickets to the FORMULA 1 HEINEKEN SILVER LAS VEGAS GRAND PRIX 2024.
The reward was provided by Las Vegas Grand Prix, Inc. in recognition of the work that went into winning the National Blue Ribbon School award for academic performance and educational equity.
The coveted National Blue Ribbon School award affirms the hard work of educators, families, and communities in creating safe and welcoming schools that serve as models of instructional excellence and high standards of learning.
Team members from Las Vegas Grand Prix, Inc. joined Clark County School District Board of School Trustees Member Lisa Satory and Deputy Superintendent Melissa Gutierrez to surprise the entire team. This year, the Las Vegas Grand Prix, Inc. has honored and surprised extraordinary locals who have made extraordinary contributions in our community with invitations to be their guests at the upcoming race.
