Twelve CCSD students have been selected to attend some of the nation’s top universities through the QuestBridge National College Match, with all tuition and expenses paid.
Why it matters: Match Scholarship recipients, who are high-achieving high school seniors from low-income backgrounds, receive early admittance and are ensured an affordable college education at top-tier institutions.
- What they’re saying: “This match has been the biggest relief related to paying for college since I come from a first-generation family,” says Devin Womack, a recipient who attends Valley High School and was matched with an Ivy League school, Brown University.
- The life-changing award allows Angelica Saporne of Valley High School, who was matched with the University of Chicago, to have an “amazing learning and life experience in another state.”
