The Clark County School District is proud to announce that 20 students of the Class of 2024 have been selected as National Merit Scholarship Winners.
12 students were selected by the learning institutions they plan to attend from among the Finalists of the 2024 National Merit Scholarship Program. These students will receive between $500 and $2,000 annually for up to four years.
In order to qualify, each student had to write an essay, have an outstanding academic record, be endorsed and recommended by a high school official, and earn qualifying SAT or ACT scores.

Additionally, the following 8 students were awarded a National Merit $2,500 Scholarship. These students were selected from a pool of more than 15,000 finalists in the 2024 National Merit Scholarship Program. They were selected based on the difficulty level of subjects studied and grades, PSAT/NMSQT scores, contributions and leadership in school and community activities, a written essay and a recommendation written by a high school official.
