CCSD Elementary School Named Blue Ribbon School

Roger D. Gehring Academy of Science and Technology has been recognized as a National Blue Ribbon School for academic performance and education equity. The Clark County School District (CCSD) elementary school is the only school in Nevada to earn the award from the U.S. Department of Education (DOE) this year.

Gehring Academy is one of only 14 schools nationwide to be honored in both the Exemplary High Performing and Exemplary Achievement Gap Closing Schools categories. 

The coveted National Blue Ribbon School award affirms the hard work of educators, families, and communities in creating safe and welcoming schools that serve as models of instructional excellence and high standards of learning.

This year, the DOE selected 356 schools nationwide as National Blue Ribbon Schools for 2024.
