220 CCSD students recognized for academic excellence

The Clark County School District (CCSD) recognized 220 high school seniors who exceeded the District’s goal of graduating college and/or career-ready.

The group, representing 26 CCSD high schools, was presented with the Superintendent’s Medallion by Interim Superintendent Dr. Brenda Larsen-Mitchell. 

To earn the award each student accomplished the following:

  • Scored a 31 or higher on the ACT
  • Earned a score of three or higher on an AP exam 
  • Completed a Career and Technical Education (CTE) certification.

The students were presented with the honor as part of a ceremony held at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas Artemus W. Ham Concert Hall on Friday, April 12.
