23 Jun School Board approves appointment of Jason Goudie as CFO
At their regular meeting June 22, the Clark County School District (CCSD) Board of School Trustees approved the appointment of Jason A. Goudie, CPA, to serve as the district’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and gave the superintendent authorization to negotiate a contract for him. Goudie will succeed Dr. Eva White, who has been serving as interim CFO since January. White announced her retirement last week, effective Aug. 1. Goudie is an accomplished senior executive with broad experience in developing and implementing key strategic, tactical and financial initiatives for organizations with a view toward growing revenues, managing compliance and internal controls, maximizing operating efficiencies and reducing costs. He is currently Vice President of Financial and Operations Strategies for Accretive Consulting in Las Vegas. Goudie’s previous experience includes serving as CFO of Tropicana Las Vegas, Aristocrat Technologies, Black Gaming, The M Resort and Marnell Sher Gaming. He also was Internal Audit Director for Harrah’s Entertainment and Experienced Audit Manager for Arthur Andersen.
