05 Sep CCSD sees increase in Smarter Balanced assessment results
The Clark County School District (CCSD) saw an increase in preliminary results for Smarter Balanced math and English Language Arts (ELA) assessment results from last year. CCSD students achieved gains in third through eighth grades in both math and English Language Arts. “These results show that our students and staff are making gains and moving in the right direction,” said CCSD Board of School Trustees President Deanna L. Wright. CCSD Superintendent Dr. Jesus F. Jara said, “The increases we are seeing in the results are a tribute to hard working teachers, principals and students in our classrooms every day.” Click here for more information.
